The role of DRC is to enhance learning opportunities for students by making available a wide variety of resources in different media formats, from which teachers can select the best resources to assist students in meeting the Provincial Curricular and Core Competencies.

The District Resource Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm and staff can come and choose the resources in person or utilize the on-line catalog.

We offer a variety of services to schools such as coilbinding, photocopying and laminating. We also have a Cricut paper cutter and two Makerbot 3D printers available to use.

We provide support for school libraries: training on the Alexandria program, barcode labels and book repairs. We also provide a meeting room with full services that holds up to 60 people and maintain the district calendar (advertises events and provides on-line registration).
