Pink Shirt Day is Celebrated in SD59

This Pink Shirt Day, schools throughout School District No. 59 (PRS) are sharing the same message. The Pink Shirt message to treat others with dignity and respect was originally inspired by two Nova Scotia high school students that took a stand against bullying. This year in particular, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected us all and shown the importance of helping one another and advocating for those who need it.

Erase Bullying

Erase is all about building safe and caring school communities. This includes empowering students, parents, educators and the community partners who support them to get help with challenges, report concerns to schools, and learn about complex issues facing students.
