Grand Opening of YMCA Before and After School Child Care program at Ecole Frank Ross

YMCA Grand Opening

School District No. 59 (PRS) is pleased to announce the virtual grand opening of the YMCA Ecole Frank Ross Before and After School Child Care Program.  We are celebrating this grand opening virtually by sharing the YMCA Child Care Centre: L’Ecole Frank Ross Grand Opening video with messages from the partners who came together to make this program a reality for families in Dawson Creek.  The opening of this program is made possible through a partnership between School District No. 59 (PRS), the YMCA of Northern BC and the Ministry of Children and Family Development.  It is our collective desire to provide quality before and after school care programs for families in the South Peace.  The Ecole Frank Ross program was created as a result of need defined within the school community.  This program provides parents the opportunity to have their children engage in meaningful activity in a safe and familiar environment under the care of trained professionals leading into the school day and after school hours.

Erase Bullying

Erase is all about building safe and caring school communities. This includes empowering students, parents, educators and the community partners who support them to get help with challenges, report concerns to schools, and learn about complex issues facing students.
