Athletics Update

A busy start to the year in Coyote athletics with Volleyball, Swimming, and Cross Country Running. Our Volleyball teams have had good success at tournaments in Grande Prairie, Fort St. John, and Prince George, as well as a successful Home tournament this past weekend: our Grade 8 team finished 2nd in the B division, while our Grade 9 team finished 2nd in the A division. The season will conclude in Fort St. John at the Regionals Tournament on November 1 and 2.

In Cross Country Running, two Central Campus students qualified for Provincial Championships. Tegan Steckly (Grade 8) and Austin Otto (Grade 9) will be heading down south to race against the top runners in the province. The Championship is being held in Abbotsford on November 2. We wish them the best of luck on their trip!

Basketball season is just around the corner. Practices will start the week of November 18 (dates and times tbd). We expect to have two boys teams and one girls team. Stay tuned to our Facebook and Instagram pages for upcoming athletics announcements.
