Early Dismissal Days - Nov 18 & 19

Parents and Guardians,

Early dismissal days are this week on November 18th and 19th where students will be dismissed one hour early from classes.  At South Peace we just completed quarter 1 and are starting quarter 2 on Monday November 16th.  With the transition to quarter 2 and completion of report cards for quarter 1 happening this week, we will not be holding parent-teacher interviews at this time.

The focus for our teaching staff throughout this year will be to connect with parents/guardians on an ongoing and regular basis.  We encourage all parents to reach out to your child’s teachers directly or to the office to let us know that you would like to have a conversation with your child’s teacher at any time this year.

At any point throughout the year, if you wish to have an in-person meeting with a teacher you will need to book those meetings with the teacher and administration.  With the COVID protocols that are in place, we are limited in regard to the number of guests in the building as well as ensuring adherence to the additional protocols that are in place for entering and exiting the building.  We are encouraging teachers to use technology where possible to connect with parents/guardians.

We look forward to connecting with you throughout the year.
