The role of DRC is to enhance learning opportunities for students by making available a wide variety of resources in different media formats, from which teachers can select the best resources to assist students in meeting the Provincial Curricular and Core Competencies.
The District Resource Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. Judy, Rhonda, Daraleah and Karen are committed to making available a variety of resources to support classrooms. Staff can come and choose the resources in person or utilize our on-line catalog. Items reserved will be sent directly to your school according to our delivery schedule.
We offer a variety of services to schools such as coilbinding and laminating. We also have a Cricut paper cutter available to use.
We provide support for school libraries through the Insignia program.
We also provide a meeting room with full services that holds up to 60 people and maintain the district calendar (advertising events and providing on-line registration).
