Parkland Elementary

Purchase your 50/50 ticket from a Parkland student (or the office) for a chance to win some cash money right before the holidays! Winner drawn on December 10th at the Christmas Concert. Funds raised go to Parkland's PAC and are used to support student learning, fun, and much more! 

Parents - please note school will be dismissed one hour early (12:57pm) on both Wednesday November 19th and Thursday November 20th for Parent-Teacher Interviews. The book fair will also be open during this time! 

To sign up for an interview, return the sheet that came home with your student on Thursday, November 6th or call/email your child's teacher. 

November 18th to 20th, the Scholastic Book Fair will be open at Parkland! Your child can bring money to school to shop the fair, or you and your child can shop together when you're here for Parent/Teacher interviews. 

All proceeds go towards purchasing new books for the school's library!

Parkland Families & Community! You are invited to join us for a Halloween Party on Thursday October 30th in the Parkland Gym. Ms. Kurjata will be Dj'ing, and the concession will be serving pizza, corndogs, chips, and water. 

Hello parents,

Parkland’s hot lunch program is back! You can get your hot lunch orders in for your child(ren) starting today, until Mon Sept 22, for the fall session (October 3rd to Dec 19th).  

Hot lunch days are:

  • Tuesdays: alternating between Panago Pizza and The Roadhouse
  • Fridays: hot dogs, except the last Friday of the month which wil now be something new!  
    • October 31 is spaghetti, November 21 is quesadillas, and December 19 is a FREE pancake lunch (thanks PAC!)

Welcome Back to School for the 2025-26 School Year!

The first day for students of the 2025-2026 school year is on Wednesday, September 3rd. Please note the start time is 2 hours later than normal, and dismissal is 1 hour earlier - bus pick up & drop off times will be adjusted accordingly.

Normal school hours will resume on Thursday, September 4th. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the new bell schedule we had anticipated using will not be implemented. The bell schedule will remain the same as it was last year, which is as follows:

7:50am - Morning Supervision Starts & Buses Arrive (please do not drop students off at the school before this time)

8:12am - Warning Bell (students are to begin lining up at their school entrance to come inside)

8:17am - Start Of The Day 

9:45 - 10:00am - Morning Recess

11:30 - 12:00pm - Lunch Break

1:57pm - Dismissal

2:07 pm - Afternoon Supervision Ends & Buses Leave
