The Ministry of Infrastructure has connected with the president of the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology (NVIT), John Chenoweth, as they have a mobile trades training unit. NVIT is the only First Nations public, post-secondary institution in British Columbia. It is located in Merritt, and they have offered to lend it to us for the rest of the school year. It will arrive in the coming days with an instructor who will orient our staff to the operations of the trailer. The trailer will be located in the Phase 2 plan.
