Spring Choral Program & Concert Fundraiser

DC CHORAL INTENSIVE - SPRING WORKSHOP & CONCERT

 The DC Choral Intensive will be running its third choral workshop from April 24 to May 12, with a final concert at 2:00 p.m. on Mother's Day, May 12, at Unchagah Hall. 

 The May 12 Mother's Day Concert will feature the world premiere of a new choral commission by Canadian composer Dr. Matthew Emery entitled "The Garden of Dreams" written specially for the occasion! Choirs will be joined by students from the DCSS Musical Theatre program and special guest soloist, soprano Sawyer Craig.

 Concert ticket proceeds will be donated entirely to charity, split between the Jackie Da Ros Award for graduating students of School District No. 59 and breast cancer research initiatives.

 Youth Choir for ages 10 and up, Adult Choir for ages 16 and up. Registration $50 - Register via e-mail to dcchoralintensive@gmail.com 

Erase Bullying

Erase is all about building safe and caring school communities. This includes empowering students, parents, educators and the community partners who support them to get help with challenges, report concerns to schools, and learn about complex issues facing students.
